We just did a 10 days juice fast to detoxify our bodies! I had such a heavy headache! But now I am as clean as possible..:) So, yeah I love to go with green recipes. I signed in for the smoothies; we make a lot of smoothies and juices. Thanks!!

How sweet, Sherie, thank you! Good luck with those picky eaters! I have one VERY picky eater but he makes his own green smoothies at age 4. The smoothies have been the easiest trick for me. It’s the food he has to CHEW that has been a challenge. But at least I know he’s getting lots of great nutrition from his daily smoothie, which makes me worry less when he doesn’t eat ALL of his veggies at dinnertime :)

McKenna, it took me a while to commit but I am now on Day 2 of green smoothies for breakfast. I love how much energy I have and thanks to your recipe book, I have access to all kinds of delicious recipes for green smoothies I could have never thought up on my own. When I saw the Pina Colada one, I knew I had to try it. It is so absolutely delicious I could have that one for breakfast for the rest of my life! I can’t wait to try all your yummy recipes! Thanks!

Hi Bonnie, a couple of people have had this problem and we discovered it’s due to not having the most recent version of Adobe Reader. YOu can get it here for free: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ Let me know if that doesn’t work, but it should!

Hi MaKenna, This is Michelle Delgadillo. I subscribe to your Green Smoothies and tried to get the ebook, but it won’t download onto my PC. Is there another way I can get it?

I was truely inspired by your story & I too have slowly been changing how I see food & what I take in. I battled with chronic yeast infections. There’s sugar and yeast in SOO many foods, it was very difficult finding ways to eat that were good for me & wouldn’t cause more pain. Getting my family onboard is going to my challenge. My son is underweight & a picky eater to boot. My daughter likes everthing and my husband also will eat anything. Anyhow – I’m battling allergy symptoms & currently being treated for Labyrinthitis (inner ear infection) caused by a virus. Fun heh?
So – I would love to get to read your book & get my food on the right track! In the meantime, thanks for sharing your recipes. They sound delish! Take care & talk soon!

Hi Michelle! Sorry about the issues with the eBook. Anyone who has had this problem in the past has told me they were able to get the PDF just fine as soon as they got the newest version of Adobe Reader on their computer… apparently Adobe came out with a critical update for opening certain types of PDFs. You can get it free from Adobe here: get.adobe.com/reader

It takes just a few seconds to install, and then you can try to open the smoothie book again. Hope this helps! If it doesn’t, let me know and we’ll figure it out together.

i just received the ” Magic Bullet” as a gift. can i use this for the smoothies and i don’t have a blender of food processor?

Nancy, you absolutely can. It’s smaller, so you’ll probably have to blend your smoothie in a couple of “batches” or just have smaller smoothies. You might have to blend a little longer, and it might not be AS smooth as using a high-powered blender, but you’ll still be able to get a lot more veggies in without having to sit down to an enormous plate of bitter tasting stuff :)

Hi Ashlee!

I try to have one every day just because it’s such an EASY way to get tons more veggies/fruit in my diet, in addition to the veggies I munch on for snacks, dinner, etc. For me, usually it is a breakfast smoothie, but sometimes lunch. I usually drink about a quart per day, so that makes for a pretty large meal! I just recommend that people try to have one a day, whether it’s a meal replacement, or if it’s something you sip on throughout the day between meals. Whatever works best for you! The point is that you’re feeding your body more of what it really, really needs.
